June 13, 2019  Dont’t Miss Dining Here! After hearing of the    new  KING CAJUN CRAWFISH  restaurant,  I decided to visit. Located just north of the Cocoa Water Tower. A friendly greeting from “WILL” at the door and then after seating I read the menu.
Many selections: Platters fried and boiled, Cajun rice dishes, Po’boys and more.   Started with the New Orleans Gumbo. One of the best that I have had.   Be Sure to try this RICE DISH! Then on to the Jambalaya, another tasty selection. Both of these come in two sizes, I started with small to sample. Finally, Ordered – Crawfish Etouffee. Very Good, could have used   a few additional crawfish.   At this point I was filling up so I took   most of it home, along with a side Beignets!   Great with coffee.
 OVERALL: Will return for more gumbo and to try the Platters.

Reflections:  12 years ago in 2007 meetings began.     Corinne Bowley CHS’61  and  Bill Hardy CHS’59 In a conversation she suggested  CHS Alumni/Friends should meet regularly starting at Norman’s Sports Bar Cocoa.     Previous home of Paul Rufo’s Muffler Shop! Time passed and we decided to rotate visits to other locations in Cocoa, M.I. Rockledge and Cocoa Beach. 
Meeting every  Wednesday  we agreed these events were fun for all.   Word of mouth, emails, letters and  phone calls led to more CHS Alumni attending.    Most are CHS Class of:  58 thru 63.
Over the years we have grown to  171 +/-   email addresses.  Emails are sent on Sunday’s to let folks know where the next EVENT will be held.  The day after the event they are sent  listing who attended.      Thanks to Classmates who take the pictures. Lois, George, Ann, Gerri, Harvey etc.
 FYI:  Emails are sent  Bcc  so hackers are discouraged. Bcc – Blind Carbon Copy. You will only see your name. 
The emails go to CHS Alumni all over the world:   USA, Italy, South America, Canada, one goes to  Bangkok, Thailand, my friend   Allen Scott CHS’59.
Along the way we have lost many Classmates, too    many to list but  ALSO  we have enjoyed staying in touch with many,  including some of our Teachers.
