Hello CREW… Red rose 3-30-11

It was a dark and stormy, windy night; the rain fell in torrents   Storm cloud
except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind
which swept up the streets (for it is on Merritt Island that our scene lies),
along the roof tops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps
that struggled against the darkness.
Opening line from  Paul Clifford a novel published in 1830 by English
